●試験内容
【１】日本人試験官
男性。30代。通訳ガイドか旅行会社の人。とても優しい感じ。英語は出来るが、日本語も含めて話し方が緊張しているのか少したどたどしい。
【２】外国人試験官
男性。50代。ビジネスマン風。多分日本にあまり詳しくない。厳しい感じであまり笑わない。
【３】通訳の問題文
神社に行くと最初に見えてくるのが鳥居です。鳥居をくぐり聖域に入ります。
鳥居の由来には、通り入るから来たという説や、古事記に書かれていた『鳥 の囲い木』からきたという説など
様々な説があります。

I would like to talk about the world heritage sites in Japan.
There are 4 natural heritage sites and 16 cultural heritage sites.
In 1993, 4 of world heritages sites were designated in Japan.
Himeji Castle is one of them.
Himeji Castle is also called as "white crane castle" (←white egretと言いたかった！）because
the shape of donjon in similart to a bird opening his wing to the sky.
Himeji Castle looks like to have 5th floors from outside, but actually it has basement and 7th floors.
The 6th and 7th floors are connected.
There is Himeji Safari Park near Himeji Castle where children can also enjoy their stay.
The best season of visiting Himeji Castle is spring because it is beautiful with cherry blossoms.
You can take nice pictures of the castle and cherry blossoms.
In Kansai area, Kumano is also designated as the world heritage site.
I strongly recommend you to visit those world heritage site if you have a time during your stay of Japan.
【６】質疑応答の内容 外国人試験官＝(A)、日本人試験官＝(B)、自分＝(私)としてください。
(A) You talked about Safari Park. What can we do at the safari park?
(私） Children also can enjoy their sightseeing. In the safari park, they can ride a train and go to see animals.
（A)What is the specific point of the safari park?
(私）Because you can ride a train, you can close to the animal. This cannot do in the other zoo.
Also, during summer time, you can enjoy night safari that you cannot experience other places.
(A) Why Himeji Castle is different from other castles in Kansai.
（私）It is very beautiful with white walls.
Also, it is one of the castles still remaining original shape.
(B) What is the negative point of being the World Heritage sites?
(negative とworld heritage siteしか聞き取れませんでした）
(私）Do you want me to explain about the negative point of being the world heritage sites?
(B) Yes.
(私）The negative point being designated as a world heritage site is that people suddenly come to the place at the same time.
For example, at the time Iwami Ginzan was designated as a world heritage site, the system could not be followed.
(B) What means system?
(私）Well, there will be not enough Ryokan inn or transportation system to welcome a lot of people.
(B)What do you think they need to improve?
They need to increase the number of Ryokan Inns or bus service.
(A)ここ数年、日本にくる外国人が増えていますが、何が必要とされると思いますか？
(私）Well, we need to improve more services. For example, we can have a language service at subways or airports.
I think we need more lagguage services. I often see a lot of foreigners carry their suitcase in the subway.
We can have lagguage service and they can travel more comfortably.
→ここで昨年は2000人を超える観光客が日本に来たが、今年はすでに10月時点で2000人を超えているといらないことを言ってしまった・・・
（A)Did you say 2,000 people were visitied Japan last year?
(私）Sorry, I mean 20 million people.
（B) Why do you want to be a tour guide?
(私） Because I used to work as a tour conductor and bring Japanese customers to the world.
I met a lot of tour guide in each country and they were very nice to me.
Now, many people want to come to Japan, of course, one of the reason is Olympic in 2020.
This is my turn to welcome people from all over the world.
（B) Did you say you were a tour conductor? Which country do you recommend to visit?
(私）Well, this is a very difficult question. Let say France, But I also like Cambodia.
(B) Cambodia? What in Cambodia?
(私）Of course, there is famous Ankor Wat. But I like the people there. They are very kind.

【７】ハローの教材、セミナー、動画、メルマガなどで役に立ったこと。
１次試験の時からとにかく動画をたくさん見させてもらいました。
全く勉強方が分からなかった私にとって動画がどれほどあり難かったか分かりません。ipodに録音して通勤時間の間に何度も聞きました。
特に歴史は30点程度しか最初の頃は取れていなかったので、あれだけの量を無料で公開していただいて感謝でいっぱいです。
動画と同時に資料も大変活用させていただきました！
2次に向けても動画をフル活用させていただきました。
動画からのアドバイスで何を勉強するべきなのかがようやく見えてきたような気がしました。
それまではやみくも に暗記しようとしていましたが全く覚えることが出来ていませんでした。
特に遂次通訳に関しては英語力の問題ではなく、日本語を聞き取る事自体が出来ていないということに気付かせていただき、出していただいた例題を中心にとにかくメモを上手に取る練習を増やしました。
結果、試験ではメモが上手く取れず最後の文章が言えないというオチになってしまいましたが、（鳥居の造りは神社や地域によって違いますの文が私のメモにはmaterialとしか書かれておらず全く訳すことが出来ませんでした）練習していなかったらもっとダメだったと思います。
今回は遂次は壊滅的、プレゼンもせっかくの話やすいテーマだったにもかかわらず上手く話せず（文法などもめちゃくちゃでした）なかなか合格は厳しいのではないかと思いますが、ダメならダメでまたあと1年頑張ってみようかと思います。
